I recently read her book on predictions her guides gave her as to what will happen to Planet Earth. There were many pages about the Shift they predicted. This book was written in 1999. Since then Ruth has passed on. What I was interested in was what they said about the president, assuming it is the candidate that is running now.
THE WORLD TO COME
By Ruth's Guides
"Approximately five years ago the Guides said that they now foresaw a delay in the shift, explaining: "We have always told you that we could not tell you its exact time, because that is in God's hands. But we have also foreseen a Walk-in American president in place before then, preparing jobs and housing in safe areas. Since we do not now see a Walk-in president during this last decade of the century, we feel certain that the Shift will be delayed."
Inasmuch as no Walk-in candidate is yet in sight, this would indicate that no shift will occur before 2010 or 2012, since four years elapse between our presidential elections, and the then-president would require a few years to put his plan into operation after his election.
....
Readers of my previous books are aware of the Guides' prediction that a Walk-in will become president of the United States before the Shift occurs, and will be extremely helpful in preparing our nation, as well as others, with sage advice.
For those unfamiliar with the term, the Guides define Walk-ins as high-minded entities from the spirit plane who are permitted under certain circumstances to take over the unwanted bodies of other human beings, who then depart into spirit.
The motivation for the Walk-ins must be humanitarian, to help others and benefit humankind. The exchange cannot be made for selfish purposes, and it bears no resemblance to the many documented cases of possession, in which multiple egos, or malevolent spirits invade an inhabited body, creating havoc for all concerned.
....
The Guides have consistently refused to make known the identity of the Walk-in president. They indicated that the transferal of egos occurred rather recently and that the current occupant of that body is not yet fully aware of his destiny, "although he has been through a traumatic experience that will awaken him to that awareness."
....
The Guides said the Walk-in has already "come to some prominence, although he is not currently viewed as a savior of the nation. He will providentially appear and announce such sensible plans for rescuing the economy and feeding the starving people that both parties will listen to him. (It is) one who has held a public office before he became a Walk-in.'
Describing the Walk-in president as "a dedicated, spiritual person," they declared that he will be a "godsend not only to Americans and Canadians, but to others throughout the planet, as he advises their governments and gives counsel to many."
....
In the 1991 message they further wrote: "The Walk-in whose name is already familiar to many but not to all Americans will undergo the transformation within the next two or three years, and thereby be ready to assume the helm. His reputation will already have been established under the present identity, but many will remark the alteration in him shortly thereafter."
The following day they declared that "during the next few years there will be tremendous alterations in the weather patterns, so that these recent years will be regarded in retrospect as idyllic." Continuing their predictions of earthquakes, floods, and "tornadoes that will rip through the heartland of America," they added: "That is when the Walk-in will become exceedingly prominent, as he will by then have undergone a revolution from within. His candidacy will be announced, and he will be overwhelmingly elected, as he advises people on safe moves and prepares to set up government-endorsed housing and businesses in Sections of America that seem most likely to survive the Shift. Meanwhile, leaders in Europe and Asia will be casting about for similar projects and seeking advice from this American president."
From time to time I sought to know the identity of the promised Walk-in, but the Guides have consistently refused to divulge it. They did occasionally drop hints, as if we were playing a guessing game on Jeopardy! In May of 1993 they said that the individual "is already in office, in a rather unpublicized position, and will be assembling a fine set of solutions before his presidential race."
In January of 1994 the Guides were still reporting that the mysterious president-to-be had not completed the soul exchange. Referring to the body's present identity, they said: "the future president is now prominent but has not yet become a Walk-in. That will occur when he suddenly awakens to the futility of politics and the power game and will surrender his soul to the spirit plane, making way for his own replacement. When that occurs, many will be amazed at the alteration in his personality and goals. Some will scoff that it is for political purposes, but it will actually be the Walk-in who has taken over and who plunges into the task of preparing people for dramatic alterations in Earth and weather patterns."
Another day they tantalized me by writing: "His advent into body will occur shortly, so watch for hints of a rather radical change in a fairly prominent man. The Walk-in will be full of ideas and plans as he enters the new body that is already well established politically. He foresees from this side what needs to be done to alert people and prepare the safe areas for habitation by large numbers."
....
The exchange of the souls had apparently occurred between the Walk-in president-to-be and his predecessor, because in July 1998 they wrote: "Now for the Walk-in. His name is recognizable to you, although you do not know him. He has been in the government in some very good spots heretofore, and now that he has become a Walk-in he will begin to energize that body and formulate plans for meeting the crises facing America and the world. The substitution of ego has occurred, although not in a particularly dramatic way. His predecessor in that body was dispirited and sick of politics for the sake of playing games, and was ready to depart. Since he was in a good position to step forward through name recognition, he was willing to let another take his place, and that has been effected. He is still adjusting but will be heard from more dramatically as the time approaches for the nominating conventions. He is neither liberal nor conservative, as those terms are used today. He is sensible and aware, and has great sensitivity to the needs of others. He will be nominated and elected. All for now.
THIS IS IMPORTANT TOO....
Later they contributed another "progress report." Reminding me that the Antichrist is now in a "somewhat minor position in government," they added: "But he will begin to rise as he realizes his full potential for evil. Let us emphasize that he is not Satan, but a longtime disciple of that rebellious one, and has had many previous Earth lives. He is fairly young still, but on the borderline of becoming eligible for the presidency at the turn of the century. That will be his ambition, and after the Walk-in president is installed in office, the Anti-Christ will try to move forward, making waves and attracting attention.
"As the Shift approaches he will begin to propose logical-sounding propositions to solve the problems and will attract followers, as he is a compelling speaker with what will seem to be a pleasing personality. He cares nothing for truth, so he will promise everything to everyone and say that he is the one person who can lead them out of the miseries of this decade. He will not be elected in 2000, but he will move into the turmoil immediately following the Shift, calling on all to follow him, and many will do so for a time, until he is unmasked for the evil incarnate that he is.
At a later date the Guides added: "The Antichrist will make his real grab for power after the Shift, when people are beset by problems and frantic for solutions, and he will soon attempt to become a dictator with powers to regulate all human activities. This will awaken thinking people to the perils of following such a person. His true colors will be seen, and he will eventually meet physical death through violent means. We do not wish to say more about him at this time."
Does that sound like anyone you know? Be aware. Be very aware.

DR. EDWARD CARLOS ET AL
Classic Mysteries
Retired College Teacher Recalls UFO Alien Contacts & Little Man Encounter
By Brent Raynes
Dr. Edward Carlos has retired now from his many years as a teacher at Tennessee’s University of the South in Sewanee. For 34 years he taught there, while also directing the University gallery and chairing the Fine Arts Department. When I wrote some about his experiences years ago, we had to be careful because of his professional career and reputation. “Now that I’ve retired and cannot be fired for speaking about those mystical and/or visionary experiences/encounters that befall me, I no longer hide myself from anyone,” he recently wrote.
In fact, Dr. Carlos would like me to let you know about his art center called IONA: Art Sanctuary, located in Sewanee, Tennessee. Check out his website: www.ionalightfall.com. He explains that his artworks “actually stem from thoughts/expressions/insights concerning the encounter-oriented messages, teachings, and visions thereby related to an altered state/perspective. I don’t mind that being known as I lecture/talk about the experiences stemming from these encounters to all visitors now.”
Dr. Carlos even met and worked some with the noted abduction researcher Dr. John Mack, spoke on UFOs at Harvard, and was included in a chapter on his experiences in Dr. Mack’s book, Abduction: Human Encounters With Aliens (1994), though he never felt that Dr. Mack had a real clear understanding of the so-called “abduction” phenomenon and the complex elements that composed it. Earlier I had written about the influence on Dr. Carlos’s artwork connected with experiences he had on the island of Iona, off the coast of Scotland, with strange illuminations in the sky and on the landscape, psychological disorientation, and inexplicable lapses in time.
Recently Dr. Carlos shared with me this personal experience that also happened to him and a “priest-friend” on that Scottish island. It is truly a classic episode in terms of the mythic landscape on which this incident is said to have transpired, a land steeped in the traditions and legends of those famous beings of classic British Isle mythology: elves, fairies, and leprechauns.
Dr. Carlos wrote:
“On Iona island in the Inner Hebrides many years back, a priest and I
became lost and disoriented a bit on the high mountain summit area of
the island; as evening commenced we realized we would have to locate
and follow the coastline of cliffs and crags until we reached an area
we might know in order to make our way back to the little town of
Iona. The hikers' path would disappear in the darkness, and with
night at that time of the year (autumn) temperatures fall drastically.
Climbing with great struggle over some coastline ridges we pulled
ourselves up to the height of a small flat ledge (maybe 30 x 30 ft.
in area-size jutting out from the higher cliff) to find a stone house
with maybe 8 ft. high walls topped by a moss-covered roof, no doors
and no windows). Surprising a wee being (maybe a foot and a half-two
feet high) (dressed in knickers et al and who looked like the
traditional leprechaun image), this small guy leapt off the ledge
near where he was standing in the opposite direction from us into
what looked (later when on the ledge) to us like a large rough
mass-jumble of boulders. We could not find him, once on the ledge,
but we walked all around the house, touching the sides, but as night
was ensuing, we had to continue and move on. When my St. Michael's
Triumph altar artwork was dedicated at a subsequent Sunday morning
mass, the sermon given by the priest-friend was on belief in angels,
spirits, and fairies. On another (trip) to Iona maybe 18 and/or 20 years
later, I searched but could not find any area resembling our earlier
climb, and, thus, no ledge and no windowless-doorless house and no
little guy.”
As Jacques Vallee pointed out nearly four decades ago in his thought-provoking book, Passport To Magonia, perhaps there is a deep and profound fabric of significance to the centuries old “little people” lore of the British Isles (and numerous other parts of the world) and the “little men” associated with our modern UFO encounter accounts.
I had shared Dr. Carlos’s story with Priscilla Wolf (read Reality Checking), and she in turn shared this interesting story:
“My cousin, who goes elk hunting in the Colorado mountains, along with his brother, went to an area they never been before. He said by a big Ponderosa tree there was an untouched cabin home not lived in but beautiful, and they check it out and marked the big tree to come back later and find the owner and try to buy it. Oh well, later he said they went back and they found the tree marked but no cabin. Only the forest full of trees.”
Getting back to Dr. Carlos’s UFO encounters, he described his beings in those instances as consisting of those who are about five feet tall, seemingly “telepathic,” and the “little ones” who are about three feet tall and from whom “no communication ever has occurred.” He has seemingly had some pretty amazing “alien” encounters and discourses. He recalled another encounter in Kentucky as he wrote: “Returning from my daughter’s graduation from college. We stopped at a motel, and while I was getting our suitcases from the trunk of the car (my daughter was already in the motel room), a somewhat large (wider than the motel, circular in form) craft came down almost immediately above the motel and parking lot. As it went overhead É the stars were blocked from sight. I screamed for my daughter to come out on the balcony, but she missed it. The craft flew over the highway and on into/over a large open field (not landing, I thought) across the road.”
“That craft wasn’t so huge actually, but it was wider than the motel unit but not as long, and circular which is almost always the case for me. Actually pretty much ‘standard’ size (I know; what is standard size?) I would estimate the craft to be about the size of six-eight cars parked close together or perhaps just wider than two motel rooms side by side unless that would be less in width than the motel unit.”

Video: Livestock Mutilations, Close Encounters - Tappen, North Dakota
From Phantoms and Monsters
Posted: 05 Sep 2008 11:20 AM CDT
Video from Earthfiles.com - close encounters, abductions and livestock mutilations in and around Tappen, North Dakota.
The story was featured on the front page of North Dakota’s largest and conservative newspaper, the Fargo Forum, on October 28. It’s being called one of the “most legitimate and credible” human-alien confrontation stories in decades, and the story is nothing else if fascinating and sensational. Here is what has been happening, as reported by the Fargo Forum:Evan Briese, 16, woke early on the morning of Sept. 16 and saw something big moving among a corral where a number of very large hogs were kept -- the hogs were basically family pets. Evan grabbed a gun, thinking it might be a coyote -- but what he saw in the corral shocked him to the bone! Evan Briese encountered two creatures standing 8 to 9 feet tall that were doing something to one of the hogs. He fired his .22-caliber rifle at one creature which emitted an unearthly scream. Another creature then grabbed the boy and threw him to the ground, causing him to black out. When Evan Briese awoke, he found that Ruthy, a 450-pound sow that had been ready to give birth, was gone.
The boy ran to the home of his older sister, Trista, a short distance from the house he shares with his parents.Trista Briese made a frantic phone call to her parents and it wasn’t long before they, and later the Kidder County sheriff, were on the scene. The sheriff, Doug Howard, then left but came back the next day. He ultimately came to no conclusions about what happened to the hog, Myra Briese said. Several days later, with the help of a hypnotist, Evan Briese remembered more details.Five entities had been in the corral. Two were in the process of dragging what appeared to be a dead hog when the boy interrupted them.As for the other incidents, one was in April when Evan and his cattle dog, Buster, were checking on cows during calving season, his parents said. Investigating a flashing glow, the pair walked over a hill and saw an object resting on the ground that appeared to be scanning a waterhole with an intense beam of light. At first, boy and dog could do nothing but stare. The spell was broken when Buster ran barking at the craft, which took off into the night, causing what amounted to a sonic boom.“It woke Myra up,” Torrey Briese said of the sound, adding that he, too, witnessed something unusual this past summer. It happened one night in July, when he was giving a neighbor a ride into town. Briese said he and the neighbor noticed a bluish light in the sky, which stopped when they stopped and moved when they began driving.
“We spent about a half-hour watching it,” Briese said, adding that at one point the object flew so fast it went several miles in a matter of seconds. Based on the description of the object his son saw in April, Briese links the two events, adding that he’s never been given to flights of fancy.“Evan and I are very skeptical,” Torrey Briese said. “We used to watch ‘The UFO Files’ on TV and laugh out loud.” Briese said he wouldn’t be surprised if people feel the same about his story, but he said the family doesn’t feel a need to prove anything and they’ve moved on. “We’re not out looking for aliens every night,” he said.Brice Barnick, the mayor of Tappen -- located off Interstate 94 between Bismarck and Jamestown -- said visits by UFOs are the talk of the town, though he himself is not quite on board. “I’m not saying it can’t happen. But I’d have to see it to believe it,” Barnick said. At the time of the April incident, the Brieses were put in touch with Richard Moss, a UFO investigator who happened to be in Tappen for a funeral.Moss, of Long Prairie, Minn., is the Minnesota representative of the Mutual UFO Network, an organization based in Colorado dedicated to the study of UFO phenomena. Moss, a former high school science teacher, said that in many years of investigating UFO reports, only a handful have impressed him as having the potential to be genuine. The Tappen incidents, he said, fall into the latter category.“There are a lot of people out there who are telling false stories. The credibility of the witness is a big thing,” Moss said. In the case of Evan Briese, Moss said it was interesting to view the boy’s demeanor before and after the hypnotic regression. Prior to hypnosis, “He (Briese) had a sort of unsure look on his face.
He was still really wondering what had happened. After the hypnotic regression, he knew. He was made to remember,” Moss said. Sheriff Howard was off duty Thursday and could not be reached for comment.John Lemieux, a Kidder County deputy, said he did not believe the incident in September resulted in a written report. Torrey Briese said strange things are still happening. A relative who farms in the Tappen area recently had a sheep die, and a veterinarian who examined the animal found no obvious reason for its death, Briese said. A cause of death wasn’t the only thing missing. Someone, Briese said, removed a single testicle from the animal. It was done with surgical precision, he added.
